Catrice, Catrice, Catrice! (Part 1)

2 months ago I had a post about some of my favorite brands and their best products. One of the brands was Catrice. It has become my top 1 makeup brand. Since than I tried more of the products and totally fell in love with them. I think it's the best for the price. I'm going to tell you about all of the products I've tried. This topic will probably have three parts. In the first part I will tell you something about nail polishes and lip products.

Catrice nail polishes come in a beautiful huge range of colors. Nothing changed a lot in my colection of their nail polishes so I don't have a lot to talk about there. Going on the lip products.. Their lipsticks are absolutely gorgeous. I have them in the color Star Rust and in the color Hey Nude. They don't have an unpleasant scent and they look beautiful on the lips. Hey Nude is just a regular nude lipstick that I talked about in an already mentioned post, but the Star Rust is pretty brownish-red lipstick with some sparkles. It's not what I usually wear on my lips so I don't wear very often. Maybe I will when the winter comes.

Garnier

It's a really good brand. So I'm going to talk about some of their products I've tryed. And explain my morning and night routine.

Garnier Essentials toner (grape extract)

I don't want to just talk about how great Garniers products are, but it's the fact. This toner refreshes, it soothes and it does soften your skin. This toner is made for normal to combinated skin. Don't use this if you have dry skin. Results won't be good. There are other types of this toner so, look for your toner.


Garnier Essentials moisturizer (green one)

This moisturizer is a day care. It's made for oily to combinated skin. So, if you have that tipe of skin it is a really good daily care. It does make your skin feel matte and it's really good for putting before foundation. This can dry your skin even more if you have dry skin. If you have dry areas on your face I will tell you a little tip for that in my routine.


Garnier Essentials moisturizer (white one)

It's made for all tipes of skin. It's a nice night care.


Garnier PureActive ExfoBrusher

It's a face wash. I don't think people with dry skin should use this more than ones in a week. It does clean the skin and it dryes it a bit. That's why you have to put moisturizer after.


Morning routine

In the morning I keep it simple. I put some toner on a cotton pad and clean my face. It actually wakes me up. Then I put the green moisturizer and put my makeup on (or maybe not some days).

Night routine:

If I wore makeup that they I take it off with some cleaning wipes. Every other day I use the PureActive ExfoBrusher and clean the rest of the makeup that cleaning wipes may not take off. Then goes the toner or I use it right after the cleaning wipes. Then I put the white moisturizer on my dry areas (my nose) and it realy helps. On the rest of my face I put the green moisturizer (or you can just use the white one).

Music

When I was in kindergarden I started singing. I always loved music. I performed at the age of 6. I went to some singing classes and I loved it. In 3rd grade I started studying music in a music school. I studied piano and solfeggio (something like music theory). In 6th grade I went to the piano competition. It was a duet with my friend and we got in the 3rd place. I can't remember at which age, but I started to listen to rock music. I got it from my dad. I still love and enjoy it. From the 5th or 6th grade to 7th grade my favorite singer was Avril Lavigne. Now I don't have a favorite singer or a favorite band. I love pop, rock, dubstep, hard rock, heavy metal, classical music... This year in January I started to do covers of some songs and made a SoundCloud account. 1) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
That's pretty hard one. I think I would rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses. You can allways buy a new mascara or eyeliner and they don't last as long as eyeshadows do.

2) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
This is easy, I would rather never be able to cut it again.

3) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Coral cheek.

4) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Probably makeup.



5) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Haha. I would rather put something on my eyes than lips, so I would rather put lipstick as eyeliner.

6) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Sephora I think. It's more affordable.

7) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
One lip color.

8) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Both would be hard, but I would rather wear summer clothes in winter.

9) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright. You can allways pull that of.

10) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
Lip product (as you can see I don't care that much about lips xD).



11) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Ponytail.

12) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
I would rather never use lipgloss.

13) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
OMG! This is so hard. I think sharpie them in everyday.

14) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Nail polish.

Brands and their best makeup products

Lets talk about makeup a bit.

Catrice

It's a makeup brand that I recently found out about. I have to say that the products are a good quality (at least the ones I own). I have their Ultimate Color lipstick in 240 Hey Nude. Amazing! It's a combination of nude and pink (more pink), it has a nice shine and it's creamy. But, I think best produscts from Catrice are nailpolishes. They last pretty long and you can find unique colors. I have 8 of them.


Essence

If you're from Europe, you probably know about it. I like their products and they are really cheap. What i mostly buy from that brand are eyeshadows, eyeliners, eyeshadow primer, some brushes and nailpolishes. I don't reommend their foundations, BB creams and powders. Maybe they work for someone, but the colors are horrible. Every color is orange. But, other than those, their products are pretty amazing when you look at the price and quality.


Maybelline

This brand is pretty popular not just in the USA or Europe. They have awesome products, but I mostly use their mascaras. I like them a lot and there are many to choose from.


Max Factor

This brand is not really popular in the USA, but I looove their False Lash Effect mascaras. I have to say they are the best mascaras that I tryed. They are more expensive than mascaras by any brand I talked about here, but quality is really good.

1. Do you remember your first makeup item?
I think I do. It was this girly eyeshadow pallete with Baribe colors.

2. Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?
3. What kind of coverage do you prefer from foundation?
Medium coverage because you can pull it of for going out and for every day.

4. Favorite high end brand?
MAC I guess.



5. What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven't?
MAC, Sephora, Urban Decay, Stilla and Elf.

6. Favorite drugstore brand?
Maybelline, Max Factor and Essence.

No, I never did.

I could, but I probably wouldn't leave the house without mascara and BB cream.

I think my BB cream by Garnier and that waterproof mascara.

10. How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there or get lots of goodies at once?
There is no specific time. I like to pick up an item here and there, but if there is an event that I need something special than I buy more items at once.

11. Do you have a "beauty budget" or you spend freely?
You can call it a beauty budget, but I plan everything before I buy it. Of course there are some deals here and there that are too good not to buy something, so if that happens I make a plan in the store.



12. Do you utilize coupons, rewards cards and sales when you shop for cosmetics?
Of course, I do it all the time.

13. What type of product do you buy the most of?
No, there isn't.

15. Do you avoid certain ingredients in cosmetics like parabens or sulfates?
I don't avoid the product if I like it.

16. Do you have a favorite place to shop for makeup?
No, just local drugstores. But, I like to go to the one that has the best deals.

17. Do you like trying new skincare products or do you keep a certain routine?
I keep a certain routine, but I like to change it here and there.

I really don't have a favorite one, but if I lived in USA, it would probably be Bath & Body Works.

I couldn't choose just one. For ma face I would choose Garnier and for makeup I would choose one of my favorite drugstore brands.

MAC, I think.

I think most celebrities always have really good makeup, but Jessie J or Miley Cyrus.

No, I don't.

I don't use them, but yes.
